Document the reason before the change

Record the showing activity, the feedback themes, the comparable evidence, and the seller’s goal. A price change without a reason is hard to explain and harder to review.

Separate the agent’s recommendation from the seller’s decision.

Capture approval and effective time

Record the approved price, the approver, the date, and the time the change goes live across the listing portals. A stale portal price creates a trust problem.

Check the syndication status after the change and record the confirmation.

Review the response

Set a review date and record inquiries, showings, and feedback after the change. Do not change the price again without new evidence.

File the record with the listing history.
