Tier the verification by risk
A returning guest and a first-time long stay do not need the same checks. Define the checks by booking value, length, and property access.
Record what was verified and the date.
Use the booking channel and the property record
Confirm the guest name, the booking reference, the arrival time, and the approved occupancy. Do not rely on a text message from an unknown number.
Route identity documents through the approved secure channel.
Brief the on-site team
Give the property team the arrival window, the access method, and the contact, without unnecessary personal detail.
Record any exception and the person who approved it.
